Rail sections can overlap in the middle or not so the length of the rail can be extended much longer than is needed for any stock motorcycle. For hauling motorcycle with front tire up to 6-1/2" wide, rear tire up to 8" wide and wheelbase up to about 90". This is a sturdy and cost effective trailer for hauling anything from one street machine to three full size dirt bikes plus one kid's size dirt bike.

The 749TC trailer folds up for storage. When the motorcycle rails are in line and not overlapping the bed sections the bed can be folded with rails in place by removing the wheel blocks. Up to 3 Motorcycle rails may be mounted side by side plus one sideways across the front (for small dirt bike). With some configurations the rails must be removed in order to fold the trailer bed.

One set of tie-down extension brackets is included with 2 and 3 rail packages. Two sets of tie-down extension brackets are included with 4 rail packages. Drilling is not required in order to bolt on the front tie-down extension brackets. Drilling IS required to bolt the side tie-down extension brackets to the frame.

Eye-bolt hardware is sold separately. One 4 x 8 foot sheet of plywood cut into two squares fits exactly with 1" of frame exposed for stake slots around the perimeter. There is 1-1/2" between the bed sections (before plywood) when the trailer is folded. The plywood can be up to 3/4" thickness with no motorcycle rails. To fold the bed with rails in place (nested) use 5/8" or a good grade of 1/2" plywood.

The 749TC trailer has a gross vehicle weight capacity of 1800 lbs. Net cargo capacity shown below is after subtracting the weight of the trailer, motorcycle rails, and one ramp. Note that a ramp is included in each motorcycle rail package, but typically only one is needed at a time. The weight of only one ramp is included to estimate net cargo capacity.
